“Class U” Ram Blowout Preventers

Pipe Rams for Control Flow's "Class U" BOP’s are available to fit a wide variety of tubing, drill pipe, drill collar, and casing sizes. All rams are suitable for H2S sour gas per NACE MR-O1 -75 specifications. The CFI "Class U" ram packers are self-feeding with a large reserve of elastomers to ensure a long-lasting seal under all conditions. Ram packers lock into place and cannot be dislodged by the well flow. Control Flow's Shearing Rams shear the pipe in the hole to allow quick sealing in the event of unexpected down hole pressure or conditions. Shearing capabilities for the CFI "Class U" BOP's vary with the style of rams, bonnets and/or boosters.
