Design/Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Primary Responsibility for Design/Mechanical Engineering of assigned CFI product line equipment. Duties as follows:

Machine design using either AutoCAD and/or modeling software (Inventor preferred), making layouts of designs to handoff to designer/drafter for detailing Complete stress analysis to meet design standards and material selection using MathCAD software

Check work created by designer/drafter’s before submitting drawing package to Engineering Manager for approval

Create Engineering Specifications as required

Trouble shoot manufacturing problems and disposition non-conforming parts Assist with commissioning and start-up on offshore installations as required

Duties to also include, direct involvement and assistance in product and technology development and implementation, including, assistance to the business development activities, customer requirements, new product development, improved product development and other related task and requirements as may be required by the company

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree or Higher in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent or Like Work
• Experience In Same or Similar Field
• Two Years or More of Qualifying Work Experience
• Stress Analysis
• Machinery Design
• Good Communications Skills
• Good Organization and Management Skills
• Computer Skills, Word Processing, AutoCAD or Modeling Software (Inventor Preferred), Excel, Power Point, MathCAD
• FEA Experience or Knowledge Beneficia
